Been trying to dwell on the brighter side of life,
disregarding the harsh past, striving for a better future.
Yet why does it seem that life itself permits me not,
see the bright side, keeping me in the shadows.
Showing the world a different face,
keeping hidden, the real one who wants to speak out.
Wearing a hideous looking mask,
just to let the people see you seem fine.
Encouraging the people around you,
yet you are already about to give up yourself.
Giving them some advice and resolutions,
all based from your experiences in life.
Pain and Sadness is what made you learn,
to stand up and rise each time you fall,
to know what life is all about.
And yet, it is also made you sit on the edge.
