Patch Me Up

Knocking from door to door,

getting the door slammed at my face is what I get as a reply,

Time has passed, and a bit too much was wasted.

Only because I'm searching for something.

A fool is what I may have become.

Looking for something that seems impossible to find.

I may have found someone, but, never has my call been answered.

Whenever I find someone, I always hope that she's the one.

Always a failure, greatly damaged inside.

Looking for someone who'll patch me up carefully and safely.

Each moment of everyday,

Meeting new people, old friends,

The events around us, those that we are involved.

All these have a reason why and are destined to happen.

Destiny lets us choose our own path.

To the good side or bad side,

Whichever path we choose,

Destiny has something waiting for us.

Each move we do, each step we make,

Has a reason why and has its consequence.

No matter what happens, just remember this:

By the river's edge, a man is sitting all alone, crying his heart out.

Thinking of all the things and happenings in his life.

About how unlucky he is, feeling as if no one loves him.

It's like his dreams are being washed away as the river flows.

Full of misery his life is, it is all that he has experienced.

All that he feels are loneliness and emotional pain.

Badly broken deep inside, beyond repair like a broken mirror.

Sick and tired he is of his never changing lonely life.

Leave behind this world and everything else, even his own life.

Never again will he experience all the pain that he has left behind.

Always taken for granted, a nuisance, a pain to everyone's life.

Ending it now is what he wants, to forever be rid of his miserable life.

Misinterpreted by people, making him feel uneasy.

Always down because of his experiences in life.

Regarded as a boastful, proud person, which is the exact opposite.

I am, after all, just a worthless piece of trash in this world.

A Blessing from Heaven

Different people of different ambitions.

Living in different places, of different civil status.

Fated was their meeting.

A purpose in each other's life is what they are serving.

As close to each other as they can be,

Mistaken often as lovers, which they can be.

Concerned for each other's welfare,

The best of friends they are.

A shoulder to lean on when the other is down.

Having the other as a friend is like a crown.

Always there for the other, waiting for the call.

Take it for granted, prepare for its toll.

Life

A gift that everyone has.

It is given by GOD and our parents.

A gift that is full of surprises and memorable moments.

Moments that will always be in our memories while we still breathe.

Full of challenges it may be,

Once surpassed, an experience you'll gain.

An unexplainable feeling, full of joy and triumph.

Light as can be you'll feel.

Cherish each moment you'll have.

Live it with happiness, not with regret and sadness.

Live it to its fullest.

Because you won't know whether it'll be short-lived or long-lived.

Friends

People you've met at some point in life.

Like it or not, they've played a role in our life.

Good or bad they may be, admit it or not,

They've played an important role in our life.

True friends are those who're with you,

May it be in good or bad times.

They'll always be there for you.

Cherish them for they're hard to find.

Fake friends will be with you

Only in good times.

The time when you have a lot of money.

Despite that, they've played a role in our life.

There are many kinds of friends.

They will come at the right time, at the right moment.

Choose them wisely for they'll influence you in your life

And forever will they be a part of your life.

Truth

Say it to me directly, in my presence.

Tell me facts, not lies.

Because it is as if you're as cold as ice.

I feel, as if you're happier at my absence.

Being lied to is what I feel.

Hopefully, it is unreal.

The truth is all I want to know,

Greatly it is that you won't understand how.

Simple words that seem hard to tell.

By saying it, it seems as if you fell.

From the highest mountain,

To the deepest ocean.

Unpredictable

A bright sunny morning,

A dark cloudy noon,

A cold rainy night,

It's been an unpredictable day.

Waking up happily to a great morning,

Going home filled with sadness,

A day hoped to be great.

But the opposite, it turned out to be.

A string of events,

In a single day,

Will be able to change,

What we expected the day to be.

Thank you and goodbye, until we meet again.

Another Year has ended

and yet we still have many things to do.

Things that will forever be in our memories,

things that we will always value.

As we give our farewell gestures while looking back,

we remember the moments of laughter and joy.

We also remember the moments of tears and sadness.

Most importantly, we remember our friendship that will forever last.

We will now part our own separate ways

without knowing what lies ahead, waiting for us.

Without also knowing when or how will we be able to meet once more

for there will be many things that may hinder us to do so.

Now, we have to learn to stand up on our own,

depend on ourselves and not on others

for there will come a time that they can no longer be there for us.

Not that they chose to but because it’s what FATE wants.

Some people will come and go while others will remain,

like how you guys will remain in my heart and mind.

Treasure all that we shared and been through

and to keep in touch, I will.
