Another Year has ended
and yet we still have many things to do.
Things that will forever be in our memories,
things that we will always value.
As we give our farewell gestures while looking back,
we remember the moments of laughter and joy.
We also remember the moments of tears and sadness.
Most importantly, we remember our friendship that will forever last.
We will now part our own separate ways
without knowing what lies ahead, waiting for us.
Without also knowing when or how will we be able to meet once more
for there will be many things that may hinder us to do so.
Now, we have to learn to stand up on our own,
depend on ourselves and not on others
for there will come a time that they can no longer be there for us.
Not that they chose to but because it’s what FATE wants.
Some people will come and go while others will remain,
like how you guys will remain in my heart and mind.
Treasure all that we shared and been through
and to keep in touch, I will.
Thank you for being a part of my life.
You’ve shown me how beautiful life is to have you around.
